Roots are bitter but results are sweeter...

This ones specially for those who aspire to become an entrepreneur. Well i hail from city of Ahmedabad and from Gujarati background which has given birth to many of upcoming entrepreneur be it Ambani or Adani.. There are many entrepreneurs in Ahmedabad and am one of them. I am a self-emplyed educator who runs tution classes at a very small scale still am proud to be an entrepreneur.

I started my business 4 years back though it isnt something big but every year I meet new people and I have to tackle them in a different way.People say its good you have your business but its obstinate, its a never ending job. Its difficult  to handle parents' need in such a market where you have number of competitors , but for me the teaching is something which i like doing and moreover i want to share my knowledge in a different way than others in the market. If not today i will definitely make it big tomorrow.

As i see many of my friends working in IT companies,Manufacturing plants, Telecommunications etc they have fixed working hours and at times they might get late , but in business you have to be 24*7 available.   Considering an example of nearby chaiwala he is  the best example of an entrepreneur, he handles human resources ,he handles his day to day working capital and most important is he knows how many cups approximately is his daily target accordingly he manages his show . In any business it is the entrepreneur who works hard for the success of his business. Though books say entrepreneurs are those who generate ideas but its not only generating ideas it includes A-Z business. I have seen those entrepreneurs who relax and sit and watch the show of the business carried on by his staff , and suddenly he realises Oh no..Now what?? One thing is very clear that your subordinates are more interested with their salary rather than your company's goodwill. First thing that an aspiring entrepreneur should keep in his mind is that, "its my idea my business and my prestige ,I have to work hard for it". There are few businessmen whom i have seen doing low grade work and completing their targets in their manufacturing units. Early years  are going to be difficult, may be you are in your office for more than 24 hours as well.

Second most important is Market survey..One has to be aware of the market conditions. Like when i started of my small teaching business I started with state board tutions, then many schools introduced cbse so i had to penetrate into this new market. Entrepreneur's should be flexible in nature and should always incline their business towards the need of the people. If theres something new one must catch-hold of it and start penetrating into the market.

Third most important is customers should be the ultimate profit and goal of the business.Entrepreneur should always focus on customer's needs and satisfaction. In early stage of business if you handle your customers in a satisfying way they are definitely going to get new customers.

Fourth important is business ethics, Business ethics are very important and they should  be within you.. One should see to it that their business is not harming the society rather they should follow corporate social responsibility like "Motif " every year they organize a charity walk.

Fifth important is that entrepreneur must have a charismatic personality. You should be a good listener as well as a good speaker. You should have the zeal of doing business inside you so that you can convince your customers . Business is not only about profit and customers , people working in it are integral part of it one should always take care of them and motivate them..

Business skills develop not by learning books but by experimeting and experiencing. One should always learn from the mistakes. One must have a risk taking ability to build up a palace from ground zero. For those who think that business is a bed of roses and job is hardship Sorry but with this attitude you cant be a good entrepreneur.
