LIBERAL STUDIES!!

Once  i had gone to PANDIT DEENDAYAL UNIVERSITY and there i found this liberal studies course. This liberal studies is not actually liberal rather it is more intense, in one shot they try to teach  u many things together photography, ceramics, craft, drama, trekking, technology, French, German and many more subjects. There might be people who think that this course is not worth coz one might not like few subjects being taught there, but the best part is after 4 yrs you can choose whatever career you want.I have friends who are not satisfied after going for engineering , Mba , medical etc..Everywhere these exceptions are going to be there. But the only advantage that u can have wid this liberal studies course is that after 4 yrs you will choose career what you want and not the one that is  pre-defined after taking admission in any college. India has foot in liberal studies like that  people have abroad. One can choose career of his choice can even switch fields , course etc.People in initially stage will not encourage this but slowly they trend has s tarted in India as well.I took up  commerce in 12 grade got good result but still wanted to opt for fashion designing and some how couldn't crack NIFT , ended up taking NIFD.  In those three years i realised that just being good in drawing or having interest in designing shouldnt be the parameters for which i opted the course. Some how i couldnt work with tailors and draftsmen and all.So i thought of giving GCET for mba and here, people depressed me like why mba?? why switching field?? I was like watever i studied was an  advantage for me but people still believe in old orthodox beliefs. With my MBA i did  part-time tutions some how i got interest in teaching and i didnt go for final placements.Again people started mba-marketing doing tutions why so??  Its all on your interest , if you like to do something and devot yourself you will reach lofty heights.Your learning is never wasted it will help you somewhere or the other. For progress we need open-minded and like minded people and thats very difficult to find. If you go on believing others you will be at ground zero. Make your studies liberal as no one is going to earn from that its your smartness and experience that will be advantageous at that momment. If you join course go with a zeal for learning something rather then calculating ROI. You should know how,  when and where what you need to apply  from your learning. Its always going to help you when you are on ventilator (not in real  sense). It will definitely pay you back.
